Under occasional supervision, provides prompt and friendly customer service through answering of the County switchboard system, acting as receptionist to the County Council offices within the Administrative Complex, providing general administrative support to the finance office (filing, incoming/outgoing mail, departmental supply requisitions), and coordination of the administrative “pool” vehicle. Responsible for invoicing, monitoring and collection of various non-tax revenue/reimbursement receipts such as insurance premiums owed to the County (retiree, COBRA, Library), Landfill usage, local municipalities (inmate housing and fleet maintenance), airport hanger leases, and the collection of various miscellaneous revenue throughout the year. Requires a high school diploma supplemented by two years of administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Must be able to work effectively within MS, EXCEL, AND WORD. Reports to the CFO.
