Maintenance Supervisor

The maintenance supervisor shall perform a variety of skilled maintenance work for Clarendon County buildings and grounds including: heating, ventilation, air conditioning, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work as well as routine maintenance and repairs under the direction of the Facilities Manager. The maintenance supervisor may, at times, supervise the entire department in the absence of the Facilities Manager. Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent supplemented by one to two years of general facilities and grounds maintenance experience; or any equiva¬lent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities. Must possess a valid state driver’s license.

Boil Water Advisory – Hudson Road and Lizzie Creek – September 12, 2024

CAUSE OF THIS ADVISORY: Loss of water pressure
People in the affected area are advised to vigorously boil their water for one full minute before
drinking or cooking. The advisory was issued due to a service interruption in the affected area.
Don’t use ice made from unboiled water for drinking.

Boil Water Advisory – Lizzie Creek and Hudson Rd

Clarendon County advises the residents of the affect area to vigorously boil water for at one (1) full minute prior to drinking or cooking.
A line break in the water system has resulted in a loss of service to the affected area. There has not been confirmed contamination of the system. However, because of the loss of pressure, customers are advised to vigorously boil their water for at least one (1) full minute prior to drinking or cooking until otherwise notified by system Officials. Also, any ice made from the water that has not been boiled should not be used for drinking purposes.

Repeal of Boil Water Notice – Lakeview and Woodlake Roads

The Clarendon County Water and Sewer Department advises the residents served by the referenced water system that they no longer need to boil their water prior to drinking or cooking. Following disinfection and an intense flushing of the distribution system, bacteriological samples were collected from the drinking water system serving the area. The results of this sampling indicated that the system is now safe to use for drinking and cooking purposes. Clarendon County Offices Closed

County Offices will be closed Wednesday August 7, and Thursday August 8, 2024. They will reopen at normal hours on Friday, August 9, 2024.
