Clarendon County Fire Rescue is accepting applications for a Career Shift Firefighter position. Minimum requirements are: IFSAC or Pro Board Firefighter I certification with current CPR & First Aid, and a valid SC Driver’s License equivalent to a Class E or Class D with fire apparatus endorsement, with a clean driving record. Experience is preferred. Firefighter II, Emergency Vehicle Driver Training and Pump Operations certifications are preferred. Must be able to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays. Must be at least 18 years of age, at the time of employment. High School graduate or equivalent. Two (2) years of experience and training in fire service programs, or an equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. You will be required to obtain your National Registry Certification within 12 months of being hired.
