Clerk II

The purpose of this job is to provide administrative services fundamental to the adequate intake, tracking, data entry, reporting, and workflow for property owner information and processes for the Assessor’s Office. Under general supervision, the Clerk II is to receive and record documentation submitted for Legal Residency, Agricultural Use, Address changes, Mobile Home transfers and moving, Reviews and Appeals submitted by property owners. Enters property records and information through computer terminal. Post new owners, creates new parcels and transfers information to appropriate records and files.

Real Estate Property Inspector

The purpose of this position is to collect and compile data relevant to classifying residential, agricultural and commercial properties in Clarendon County for ad valorem tax purposes. Also operates various office equipment in performance of duties to maintain property records and reports by performing the following duties. Visits, inspects and collects data for real property and mobile homes as assigned by the Assessor, Assistant Assessor or Appraiser they are assisting. Plans and organizes daily activities to locate, identify, and physically inspect residential, agricultural and commercial properties for building permits, new/moved mobile home permits, new construction and various other inquiries.

Senior Buyer

As the Senior Buyer, incumbent shall perform complex technical and analytical duties involved with the research, analysis and acquisition of specialized equipment, materials, services, and supplies, including Capital Improvement Projects. Promotes the most effective and efficient use of County funds in the acquisition process. Evaluates market conditions and trends. Develops procurement specifications and arrangements, which are communicated to requesting departments. Bachelors or Associates Degree may be substituted or combined with pertinent experience.

Computer Technician

The purpose of this position is to install, maintain, repair, configure and computer hardware and software. This class works under general supervision, independently developing work methods and sequences.  Provides support to end-users as well as installation and maintenance of desktop computers, software and various peripheral devices including, but not limited to monitors, printers, scanners, plotters, network hubs, routers, switches, etc. Maintains voter registration equipment. Provides help desk assistance. Maintains logs of all installation, upgrades and repairs on workstation and peripherals. Responds to needs and questions of users concerning their computer and network resources. Troubleshoots and replaces parts on computers and printers. Performs related work as assigned.

prior to drinking or cooking.

analyzed by Clarendon County . The results of this sampling indicate that the system is now safe to
use for drinking and cooking purposes.

Boil Water Advisory – Lake Marion Shores 5-28-2024

Clarendon County advises the residents of the Lake Marion Shores to vigorously boil water for at
one (1) full minute prior to drinking or cooking.
A line break in the water system has resulted in a loss of service to Lake Marion Shores. There has
not been confirmed contamination of the system. However, because of the loss of pressure,
customers are advised to vigorously boil their water for at least one (1) full minute prior to drinking
or cooking until otherwise notified by Clarendon County. Also, any ice made from the water that has
not been boiled should not be used for drinking purposes.
