Repeal of Boil Water Advisory – Wyboo July 24, 2024

The Clarendon County Water and Sewer Department advises the residents served by the referenced water system that they no longer need to boil their water prior to drinking or cooking. Following disinfection and an intense flushing of the distribution system, bacteriological samples were collected from the drinking water system serving the area. The results of this sampling indicated that the system is now safe to use for drinking and cooking purposes.

Building Inspector

Under the supervision of the Building Official, the Building Inspector inspects all construction to ensure compliance with the IBC (International Building Code), the IRC (International Residential Code) and all other building/zoning codes and ordinances adopted by Clarendon County. Inspects construction of new and remodeled homes; Inspects the tie-down and utility connections for manufactured homes to ensure compliance with state regulations;

Dispatcher

The primary duties will include, answering and dispatching 911 emergency calls for Clarendon County Sheriff’s Dept., Fire Dept. EMS, and local towns. Requires working on rotating shifts including evenings and weekends. Must be able to work under stressful situations and have the ability to work well with the public, state, and local law enforcement personnel.

prior to drinking or cooking.
Following an intense flushing of the distribution system, bacteriological samples were collected and
analyzed by Clarendon County . The results of this sampling indicate that the system is now safe to
use for drinking and cooking purposes.

Boil Water Advisory – Hudson Road

Clarendon County advises the residents of the Hudson rd to vigorously boil water for at one (1) full
minute prior to drinking or cooking.
A drop in system pressure in the water system has resulted in a loss of service to Hudson rd. There
has not been confirmed contamination of the system. However, because of the loss of pressure,
customers are advised to vigorously boil their water for at least one (1) full minute prior to drinking
or cooking until otherwise notified by Clarendon County. Also, any ice made from the water that has
not been boiled should not be used for drinking purposes
