The Register of Deeds (ROD) records deeds, plats mortgages, federal tax liens and other documents pertaining to property transactions in Clarendon County. The office is responsive for preserving these records and making them accessible to the public. We offer access to these records free of charge through our online Public Records Search and in the office. Please be aware that our staff is unable to provide legal advice or perform title searches.
